Animal print swimsuits are obviously the backbone of my summer wardrobe. They’re fierce, fab and fashionably perfect for lounging by the pool or on the beach. So far, I have three places on my spring/summer list to wear animal print swimsuits. That being said, I don’t really need a specific reason to want to buy a new bathing suit. But anyway. I’m making excuses nonetheless.
First of all, the Radisson Admiral Hotel is going to be opening up their gorgeous outdoor pool. Then, I’ll be lounging poolside in the country at André’s parent’s place. And last but not least, I’m heading home to Vancouver Island this summer! I plan to lay out in the sun at my cabin with a good book & many cocktails all week long.
Also, this is weird to admit but I haven’t bought a new bathing suit in about 5 years. Isn’t that wild?! When I lived on the west coast and definitely when I lived in Australia, I was buying them up left, right and centre. However, since moving to Toronto, I don’t really go to the beach or go swimming that much. Call me a snob, but I prefer the ocean to lakes.

How fierce is this leopard print bikini from Zara? Plus, I could totally mix & match it with my other leopard print swimsuits. They also have a ferociously minimal black bikini with an underwire top—which I love. I could always get two bikinis and pair them together.

This zebra print one-piece is feeling extra zazzy to me. I was leaning towards getting an animal print bikini, but a revitalized classic like this might just be the winner. After all, it would do a fabulous job covering up my rib tattoo that I desperately want removed.

Rawr! This bikini speaks volumes. I’m in love. Also, I originally wanted to get a tiger print bathing suit but the one I wanted was over $220 and I’m not mentally prepared to drop that much money on something I’m not going to be wearing a whole lot.
