Hotel X Toronto: My Weekend Staycation

There’s no doubt in my mind that Hotel X Toronto is going to be the city’s latest & greatest hot spot. For weekend getaways, romantic celebrations or business travel, this hotel has it all. I swear, I’m not even exaggerating! It’s the city’s first resort-style hotel and features fine dining, endless amenities and spacious suites that are sure to impress.

At Hotel X, it’s all about you and the view. After all, with spectacular sights from virtually every room, you’ll never look at Toronto the same again. I’ve truly never seen views like they have in my four years in the city!

Recently I had the pleasure of spending a night at Hotel X Toronto to experience it in all its glory. And let me tell you, it truly was glorious.

My Weekend Staycation at Hotel X Toronto

It was a gorgeous late spring afternoon when I checked into Hotel X Toronto for a blogger staycation. As you can tell from the above photo, it’s in an absolutely stunning location. Yet, the real beauty might lie in the hotel’s interior. When you walk in, the first thing you see is a massive green wall—which have been known to be extremely relaxing.

The lobby is spacious, modern and hosts an abundance of extremely welcoming staff. It felt more like coming home than checking into a place I’d never been before! After finishing up the check-in process, I headed up to my suite to unpack and get ready for a fabulous rooftop happy hour. My breath was completely taken away when I entered my room! It was beyond gorgeous. If only my apartment looked as gorgeous as this suite, I’d be forever happy.

After snapping far too many photos, videos and Instagram stories, I zipped up my gorgeous dress (from Your Favourite Dresses by the way), slipped on my strappy sandals and took the elevator up to the rooftop level for an appetizers and hand-crafted cocktails! I was nervous that I wouldn’t know anyone, but of course, there were plenty of my blogger babes there to catch up with. And some new ones to meet, too!

As with any event that social media mavens flock to, there were plenty of photo ops. We took photos during the party, at dinner, in between courses, after dinner. You name it, we photographed it. And I think we got some pretty fabulous photos too!

Of course, Hotel X Toronto’s beauty helped with that.

Once the cocktails, dinner and dessert finished (everything was delicious!) the hotel showed a screening of Breakfast At Tiffany’s (my favourite movie) in their cinema. First of all, can you believe that Hotel X Toronto has their own cinema? It’s so wild. Then, it was time to relax in our suites. After all, with beds that comfy, how could I not be craving a good night’s sleep? I could have lounged for hours the next morning!

Unfortunately, I had to get up for breakfast (which was also delicious). And then a yoga class! My favourite way to start a Sunday.
