I am definitely not a creature of comfort. And no, not only when it comes to wearing clothing that’s more style than comfort—but that’s another story. I love anything that pushes me outside of my comfort zone. Although, I don’t always love it at the time. However, once I do it, it’s always fabulous. This year, I’m celebrating my 27th birthday and using my leopard lifestyle to push myself further than I’ve ever gone.

From going to parties alone to letting my inner-fierceness shine through, this year is all about me. And I don’t mean that in a conceited way. Quite the opposite, actually. I believe that in order to be able to love, better and appreciate others fully, you first have to love, better and appreciate yourself.

Of course, this is always a work in progress. You can always improve on yourself. But while we all focus on becoming better versions, let’s not forget the parts of us that are already flawless.

One thing I always come back to is the motto of my blog: The Leopard Lifestyle is fierce, fearless & fashion-forward.

I’ll admit, there are times when I don’t feel very fierce, fearless or fashion-forward. Even if that is the motto of my leopard lifestyle, that I fucking created. We all have those moments. It’s not always a bad thing! As long as you’re picking yourself back up, getting rid of those toxic thoughts and continuing to slay your way through life.

Now that I’ve officially reached my late 20s (oh, to be twenty-five again) it’s time to put all of my focus into getting what I want out of life. Sure, I may have many years to achieve some of these goals but why wait? I’m on the prowl now. It’s literally so cliché, but there truly is no time like the present. And speaking of presents, I’m so excited to open mine!

Also, I got myself this gorgeous vintage snakeskin halter dress from Common Sort that I’m wearing for dinner at La Palma tonight with my man. It just fits though (like, skin tight) and I’m skeptical that I’ll be able to eat as much Italian food as my heart desires—plus cocktails & dessert. I’ll keep you posted on my insta stories.

My ferocious game plan for the year:

• Create a leopard shop & curate my favourite leopard prints from designers around the world
• Have my first article published in Vogue
• Continue living my best, most stylish & kindest life

My beast (and best) intentions for the year:

• Appreciate the things I have instead of focusing on the things I don’t
• Get rid of people that aren’t serving a positive purpose in my life
• Live in the moment & get off social media (not completely, just a little bit)

I’ve had them in since the end of April and completely love them. I’ve had shortish hair for the past couple of years, so it was nice to experience the long & glam life.
