A Night of Style is exactly what you think it is. Stylish guests, hairstyles and the latest styles from the Atelier Guarin spring 2018 collection. The evening was hosted by Sassoon Salon at their chic Yorkville location with chilled wine, delectable snacks (you know I’m a sucker for cheese platters) and the chance to mingle with both bloggers and clients alike.

As well as showing off some gorgeous ensembles, the salon’s stylists re-created the season’s hottest hair-dos. Let’s just say—I felt like I played it extremely safe with my bone straight brown locks! However, I’ve been there and done that with crazy hairstyles and I’m just fine with my choppy bob.

One of my favourite things about heading to events is getting to mingle with ultra-cool people. This time, I got to hang out with some of my Twitter BFFs Ella from Ella Voyage and Cristina of Shoe Tease! We literally talk every day on Twitter and yet had had little-to-no in-person interactions. Social media is so funny that way—you totally feel like you know someone until you realize you’ve never met face-to-face!

Anyways, the Atelier Guarin collection looked fantastic paired with sleek hair, bold beauty and enviable accessories. Sebastian—the man behind the brand—definitely knows how to style a show! So, how gorgeous is the collection? I seriously need one of everything. Oh! But guess what? My boyfriend surprised me with the white ‘Selena’ wrap top! (Which, if I’m being honest, should be called ‘Melina’ because I love it so much.) I was over the moon excited when I found out. Yes, I am now the proud and fabulous owner of this Atelier Guarin spring 2018 masterpiece. I can’t wait to wear it.
