Day numero cuatro was by far my shortest day at the tents – only showing up for one (but well worth it) show. After all, I had to save my energy for the Grey Goose after party that followed. But seriously how can fashion week be so exhausting? We dress up, mingle with other well-dressed and like-minded people and watch even better clothes coming down a runway.
Tough week, hey?
My look: Finding my inner Kim Kardashian (apparently)
Although completely unintentional, I realized upon leaving my house that I was definitely channeling a bit of a Kim K get-up. With my body hugging top and skirt, cage-y ankle boots and long coat draped over my shoulders, I guess I looked the part – and played it up. I may or may not have practiced a couple faux paparazzi shots when walking up to the tents.
It was dark when we arrived at the tents so we didn’t get a chance to have any photos snapped outside. Hopefully that pic above does my Kardashian look justice.
Toronto Fashion Week Day 4: Rachel Sin
Rachel Sin was hands down one of my favourite collections of the week. I could see myself in almost everything – probably not the orange, just because that’s not really a colour I wear a lot, but it was a nice pop to see coming down the runway. The collection was super minimal, chic, relaxed and practical. You can call me a newfound Rachel Sin fan.
Also, remember Chrystina Sayers from Girlicious?! (Who could forget that suspenseful moment when the judges paired her against her BFF Natalie to win the last spot in Girlicious only to have them both make the cut?!) She’s back and better than ever with a new single Feel Lit and performed it on the Rachel Sin runway. What a show!
#STAYGOLD everyone!
